Cost: $10,000 (GYD) for Registered Pest Control Operators AND $20,000 (GYD) for individuals or private companies.
(Payment can be made on or before the first day of training. We accept cash, cheques, online bank payment or MMG payments.)
Duration: 8:30 am – 4pm (All days)
Companies must submit a cover letter addressed to the Registrar, specifying the names of participants being registered for the course. The cover letter should be accompanied by the completed application form and the required documentation for each applicant.
The Intermediate Pest Control Operator (PCO) Training Program is designed for individuals who intend to supervise pest control operations. Participants must have successfully completed the basic PCO Training program and achieved a minimum score of 65% to be eligible for this advanced level of training. This course builds on the knowledge gained in the basic training program, providing a deeper understanding of insect pest management, pest behaviour, chemical control methods, and modern non-chemical control strategies. The training combines both theory and practical application and by the end of the course participants will have gained the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage pest control operations.

- Personnel responsible for overseeing pest control operations and field staff.
- Individuals involved in planning, coordinating, and managing pest control activities.
- PCOs seeking to strengthen their knowledge of pest identification, behaviour, and management strategies.
- Professionals responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of pesticides and application equipment.
- Individuals required to conduct or supervise fumigation activities.
- PCOs who have successfully completed the Basic PCO Training course and achieved a score of 65% and above.

- Apply industry best practices to ensure pest control treatments are carried out safely, effectively, and responsibly.
- Proper disposal of toxic chemicals and their containers.
