Overview

Two-day training for persons involved in the transport of chemicals 

 Two-day in-person training Course

29th – 30th January, 2025

PTCCB Office, NAREI Compound, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara

Cost: $5000 (GYD) per person (Payment can be made on or before the first day of training. We accept cash or cheques.)

Duration: 8:30 am – 4pm                                  (Both days)

Companies must submit a cover letter addressed to the Registrar, specifying the names of participants being registered for the course. The cover letter should be accompanied by the completed application form and the required documentation for each applicant

The Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Board (PTCCB), regulates the safe transport of pesticides and toxic chemicals by air, land and water. In accordance with the Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Regulations 2004 (No. 8 of 2004) Part VII, it is required that all individuals involved in the transport of these hazardous substances complete the necessary training and certification to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

This training program is specifically designed for individuals involved in the transportation of pesticides and toxic chemicals. It covers both theoretical and practical training over a two-day period, ensuring participants gain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle and transport these hazardous substances.
